New York City has been one of the locations being the hardest hit by COVID-19. Due to the mandatory lockdown, restaurants are not able to offer their usual services to local residents. However, in the face of the pandemic, dozens of facilities decided to put their best foot forward and provide assistance to the metropolis as they are able.

Junzi Kitchen

The Chinese restaurant offers takeout and delivery services to patrons around the city. In addition, the venue is asking patrons to “share a meal,” which enables them to provide lunches or dinners to the healthcare workers throughout NYC who work feverishly to save COVID-19 patients. Thanks to the kindness of others, Junzi Kitchen has delivered more than 1,500 meals to medical facilities in order to feed staff members.

C & B Cafe

In addition to their takeout services menu, the Thai restaurant began the Lunchbox 4 Neighbors program, which is designed to feed community members. Each lunch costs five dollars or whatever anyone can donate for the cause.

Red Rooster
