If you’re into pizza, Nolita is the place for you. Many fantastic restaurants exist in this neighborhood, with Prince Street Pizza being considered the best slice in the city by many locals. If you’re looking for something a little more expensive and trendy, look no further than Pasquale Jones, a restaurant known for its clam pie. Traditionally known for its soul food, Harlem has blown up over the past few years thanks to much of the new talent that has entered the area. One popular choice that backs this up is The Cecil, a restaurant that is known for creating interesting African-inspired dishes such as Mountain Bird. Along the same lines is B2, a newer seafood restaurant known for its hip surroundings. If you’re looking for something a little more old school in the area, you could always check out Red Rooster, a restaurant opened by chef Marcus Samuelsson that’s known for its comforting style of cooking.

An obvious choice but if you’re looking for the best Chinese food in New York City, you’ll want to head to Chinatown. The neighborhood is stuffed with awesome and affordable restaurants that offer Chinese food of all varieties, such as a plate of dim sum at Nom Wah or some Peking duck at Peking Duck House.
